Practicing for over two decades, Ijaz Ahmed is one of the leading lawyers in Pakistan, conducting litigation in Supreme court of Pakistan, and High courts of Pakistan, having dealt with over 500 cases out which over 200 cases have been decided and several cases have been reported in law journals. He has also been appointed amicus curiae for assisting the courts on important legal issues of the country.

Hashmatullah Aleem is a senior member of our litigation team, having been part of the firm since 2014. He has gained valuable experience in various aspects of the legal field. During his practice, he has successfully represented clients in a variety of cases before various courts of Pakistan.
His practice in the Firm focuses on assisting the Seniors in matters before the Superior Courts of Pakistan. He has also appeared before the District Courts, including the Custom Tribunals, Intellectual Properties Tribunal and Insurance tribunal, and has effectively advocated for his clients’ rights and interests. He is enrolled as an Advocate and is a member of the Sindh Bar Council, High Court Bar and the Karachi Bar Association.

Ayesha Waseem holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and is enrolled as an Advocate of the Sub-ordinate Courts in Sindh.
She brings with her 2 years of previous experience working at a leading civil ligation firm in Karachi, with particular expertise in constitutional and land law. Currently, she leverages her skills to assists Partners and Senior Associates within the Firm in non-contentious matters pertaining to corporate and commercial advisory.
Junior Associates

Shaheryar is an alumnus of the University of London and graduated with an LLB (Honors) in 2022. Following graduation, Shaheryar has worked at leading law firms where he undertook training in Corporate Advisory, Civil and Intellectual Property litigation.
As a Junior Associate in the firm’s Corporate Legal Advisory department, he engages in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters including; legal research, drafting, and opinion writing.

Nooriya completed her LLB Hons. degree from the University of London in 2023. During her academic career, she gained valuable work experience in corporate as well as litigation by working as an intern at multiple law firms in Karachi, in addition to running her own pro bono project.
She is currently working as a Junior Associate in the Karachi office of IAA since 2023. She assists the firm’s Partners and Senior Associates on a range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
